Cheap hotels are rare in Astana, and Abaya is one of the best addresses of this category. Ideally located on the main street of the city centre, the rooms have been quite well maintained (the establishment dates back to 1984) and offers good value for money. The rooms are pleasant. The most expensive are equipped with air conditioning, TV and en suite bathrooms. Its imposing size, 258 beds anyway, makes it a little impersonal, but as you have been told, no need to be too demanding in Astana. There are some good points: a banking distributor in the lobby, the Wi-Fi in the rooms and the possibility of buying the Kazakh and Russian presses, as well as some plans of the city, of variable quality.
