CHIESA DI SANTA MARIA MAGGIORE

Elegante and imposing Romanesque church of the twelfth century, rebuilt in the late eighteenth century (1785). A powerful tower dating back to the xivth century will be noticed. Since the fifteenth century, it has been home to the famous relic of the Holy Epine (Sacra Spina) of the crown of Christ, offered by the Marquis D 'Avalos.
