POLO MUSEALE CIVICO DIOCESANO DI SANTA CHIARA

Located in the old monastery of Santa Chiara, in Piazza Garibaldi, this museum consists of the Diocesan Museum of Sacred Art, which exhibits a collection of works from the ^twelfth to the ^nineteenth century from the Cathedral of Sulmona and various churches of the diocese, the Diocesan Library, which has a large collection of books on Abruzzo (some dating back to the ^sixteenth century), and the Pinacoteca of Modern and Contemporary Art.
