MUSEO CONFETTI PELINO

To discover the specialties of Sulmona, the famous sugared almonds, go to the museum of the Pelino factory, literally Museo Pelino dell'Arte e della Tecnologia Confettiera, which has been in operation since 1783. Here you can see an exhibition of different machines used to produce sweets and the reconstruction of an ^18th century laboratory. Pelino's sugared almonds are sold throughout the city, mainly along Corso Ovidio, in the form of bouquets of crunchy flowers. You can also find gift boxes.
