Opened in 1793, caffé del Duomo is the historic café of Terracina. It is located on the cathedral square, in the upper city. Renowned ice-cream maker, we take our seats there to sip a glass or eat an ice cream, thinking that under our feet the pavement is always that of the Roman forum! The setting is charming, and the square is frequented by the inhabitants who come to make the usual passeggiata, the end-of-day walk so dear to the Italians.
