PARCO MONTE CUCCO

A park not to be missed, especially for those who are looking for the best possible compromise between sport and nature. Around Mount Cucco, which is part of the Apennine chain and rises to 1,556 m, 10,480 hectares of extremely rich nature are spread out with canyons, caves and underground paths. And, for good reason, the karstic phenomena are legion, the most famous being probably the Forra di Rio Freddo or the Valle delle Prigioni (canyon). Lovers of mountain biking, horseback riding, hang gliding and speleology will all find something to do here.
