Center dedicated to the history of Italian Jews who fled from some big cities to take refuge in Pitigliano
Centre dedicated to the history of Italian Jews who fled certain large cities such as Rome in the 15th century to take refuge in Pitigliano and found an important community there. Seven rooms are available, including the very interesting room reserved for kosher wine production. The old synagogue is unfortunately in ruins, but a temple has been preserved with a balcony for women upstairs. No more ceremonies are being held there today.

la "piccola Gerusalemme di Pitigliano" est un petit quartier intégré dans les murs extérieurs de la ville, où vivaient les juifs dans le passé. on peut visiter des logements, des entrepôt, des ateliers et uen sinagogue. La visite est rapide et le prix raisonnable, et on peut gouter des gateaux juifs dans la boulangerie à coté de l'entrée principale. A faire si on en a le temps, mais pas indispensable.
