La Pievuccia, near Castiglion Fiorentino, is the perfect place to relax and recharge your batteries.
Close to Castiglion Fiorentino, this agriturismo offers an idyllic experience surrounded by nature, vineyards and olive groves. The owners, Jennifer and Stephen, are truly welcoming, and the spacious apartments are in harmony with the rural environment. As an optional extra (but highly recommended!), breakfast is fresh and homemade, with local organic produce. Among the facilities: a magnificent swimming pool with views of the château in the distance and the garden, where you can enjoy their delicious wine. A certain idea of happiness!

I have had the pleasure of visiting La Pievuccia for a second time in a year, and Stephen and Jen are creating something special in the heart of Tuscany. This is first and foremost a family-run operation, and they pour their hearts into their property and its operation. They've made so many improvements in the year since they've acquired the property, with more enhancements on the horizon. The property's location also makes it a perfect jumping off point to explore more of Tuscany and surrounding regions in Italy, with some highlights including Cortona, Montepulciano, and Florence being just a quick car or train ride away. There also seems to be quite a biking culture in the area, so bring your bike and explore the Tuscan backroads! In addition to the surroundings and natural beauty, the long-time staff of Carla and Ricky are prime examples of Italian hospitality. Come for the views and wine, and leave with memories (and wine and olive oil), the people and place will just keep bringing you back.

I recently stayed at this extraordinary property for the second time while in Tuscany. The property is breathtaking! The accommodations are perfect and cozy, beautiful design, and very clean. The customer service was superb. Every morning, Carla , who is so sweet and kind, prepared the best breakfast spread ever for all the guests. The wine is amazing , the best I have had in Italy by far. The owners, Stephen and Jennifer, go out of their way to assure your stay is memorable. They arranged a photographer for family photos, a cooking class, transportation, and gave us great recommendations for local restaurants , anything we requested and needed, they provided. I definitely plan on returning and in the meantime will be ordering the phenomenal wine and olive oil from my home in states to enjoy. Thanks for a perfect stay again! I look forward to returning and highly recommend anyone visiting Tuscany to visit this piece of paradise.

My wife and I stayed here mid-September and had an incredible time. Beautiful views, delicious wine, and terrific hospitality. Stephen and Jennifer were so welcoming and made us feel like family. Carla was great. She prepared delicious spreads for breakfast and always made sure we had a morning cappuccino. Already missing relaxing by the pool and looking out to see the olive trees and vineyard.

Where do I begin? It is almost impossible to express the breathtakingly beautiful experience of strolling through the vineyard-filled landscape. Walking out of your suite to greet the morning as the sun rose over the trees, sitting outside with a cup of cappuccino just breathing in the glorious fresh air, reading a book under the sun by the pool side. This was the most rejuvenating vacation week I have had in a long time. I was transported to a place of relaxation and charm. I'm not really sure what I was expecting, but what we received was beyond any expectations we might have had. It was the perfect place to unwind, while being close enough to beautiful sights if we felt like exploring other cities. Anything we could have possibly wanted was so graciously provided by Stephen and Jennifer who were so warm and welcoming throughout our entire stay. By the end of the week, I was just wishing I could stay longer. This will be a wonderful memory for a very long time. I look forward to the day I can return.
