This charming little B & B in the heart of the historic centre has only 6 rooms; it is therefore strongly recommended that you make the reservation in due time. All were born within a former and vast Renaissance-era apartment. while respecting and preserving the décor and style of this old building, they are elegant and well-cared for… tranquility and comfort. However, the owner has been able to bring modernism to the requirements of today's tourist. The service is without reproach: The staff were friendly and helpful. A refrigerator is available to customers with its contents… an original idea very appreciated. The atmosphere is friendly and you feel very fast at home.

Le charme d’une maison d’hôtes véritable et authentique (16eme siècle) à la décoration classique, un accueil chaleureux du propriétaire, un emplacement idéal au cœur de la vieille ville de Lucca. Le parking couvert et fermé situé à 3’ à pied est une option indispensable.

La Bohème was a wonderful place for our short (one night) stay in Lucca. All of the staff was friendly and accommodating, and they were very communicative as we approached the date of our stay. The location was perfect, no more than a few minute walk to a lively town square and plenty of restaurants.
Our room was clean and had plenty of space to spread out suitcases. The heat didn't work all that well, but we still found it plenty comfortable to sleep (outside temperatures were in the 40s (Fahrenheit). Our kind bed was quite comfortable.
Breakfast absolutely exceeded our expectations. They provided a typical Italian spread (cold cuts, cheeses, fruits, yogurt, breads) but were also at the ready to cook up eggs if desired.
Would absolutely recommend this B&B for a trip to Lucca.
