One of our favourites in Lucca. Beautiful location right near a baluardo , friendly staff and very authentic local food cooked to perfection. book ahead as its popular , but don't hesitate to go.

We visited for my partner's birthday and the overall experience was disappointing. We had the tasting menu and the food was good, but not sure if it is Michelin level. Decor was also a bit dated. The main issue was that service was very slow to the point that some other guests left without their food, and the restaurant wasn't even busy.
