Housed in one of the most prestigious palaces in Massa's historic center, this museum exhibits works from the province's parishes
Since its opening, the Diocesan Museum of Massa has endeavoured to collect all possible and imaginable objects related to the liturgy and the practice of the Christian faith in the province. The first section is dedicated to objects from San Francesco Cathedral in Massa, while the second section contains remains of other nearby places of worship. The museum, which takes place within the Palazzo dei Cadetti (17th century), is located in the centre of Massa, a stone's throw from the Palazzo Ducale and Piazza Aranci. Access is via the gardens of via Ghirlanda.
