Family summer house offering apartments and rooms with period furniture

The estate, built in the 12th century, belonged to the Del Corno family. In 1523, it became the summer home of the Strozzi family, one of the largest families of the Medici era. Since 1911, it has been owned by the Counts Frova Arroni of Arrone. The apartments and rooms, distributed over the main residence and the three nearby farms, are elegantly furnished, with period furniture combining with the simplicity of the countryside. From this point in Chianti, it is easy to reach for pleasant excursions to Florence, Siena or Pisa.

Siamo tornati dopo 17 anni, medesima atmosfera della Toscana del Chianti non artefatta, ma incontaminata. Momento migliore per la recensione: dopo l'ospitalità del mattino, per le prime colazioni, della bravissima e gentilissima Silvia. Un grazie alla sempre affabile Contessa, perfetta padrona di casa della tenuta.

Un bel emplacement avec une très jolie piscine dans un bel environnement.
Les chambres en revanche sont bien plus attirantes en photo… très sombres et l’air conditionné était absent malgré plusieurs tentatives de réparation par le personnel.
Quant au service, il fut très inégal, si le serveur du soir était adorable, celui du petit déjeuner et de l’œnologue, assez lunatique voire un peu sec… l’envie de travailler n’était pas toujours là pour le dire poliment! Dommage!

Beau domaine d'agritourisme! Les paysages sont magnifiques. La piscine est grande et propre. Le service d'hébergement et le restaurant sont bien organisés. Notre chambre était un peu chaude car sous les toits, et la clim est sous dimensionnée. Mais les espaces extérieurs sont agréables et assez ombragés.
