Historical seat of the bishopric, which today hosts several museums dedicated to various historical and artistic aspects

Adjacent to the cathedral, the Bishops' Palace, the historic seat of the bishopric (11th-18th century), now houses several museums devoted to various historical and artistic aspects of the city. The archaeological itinerary, in the underground passages of the palace, shows the pieces found during the restoration work. A tactile museum allows you to discover Pistoia "with your hands" thanks to a raised map. Finally, the Cathedral Museum is an opportunity to admire works of silversmithing, such as the reliquary of Santiago by Lorenzo Ghiberti.
