Museum of the history of science where scientific objects and instruments are exhibited, the oldest of which date back to the 13th century.
Notice to science lovers and inventions of all kinds! In the 11th century Castellani Palace, this museum of the history of science, created in 1930 and renamed Galileo in 2010, exhibits scientific objects and instruments, the oldest of which date back to the 13th century. Physical, natural and mathematical sciences mark the interest of Florentines for research and the relationship between science and art. One section is dedicated to the famous physicist and astronomer Galileo (1564-1642). Some of his original instruments, such as his first telescope, are presented.
