Located on the first floor of the 15th-century Palazzo Lenzi, this bookshop, as its name suggests, is aimed almost entirely at the French-speaking public. Only a few of the great Italian classics are available in their original versions. There's a wide selection of books, in tune with current events in France, and some fine works on Italy, and Florence in particular. Over 30,000 titles are available. The building also houses the French Institute of Florence and the Honorary Consulate.
