Hotel near the train station with air-conditioned rooms and double-glazed windows, terrace with nice view on the roof
This small establishment, with elevator, occupies the same floor as the Hotel Annabella. All unpretentiously furnished, the 12 rooms have air conditioning and TV. Some have private bathrooms. All the room windows are double-glazed, so they're very quiet, which isn't bad considering the proximity of the station. A rooftop terrace with a panoramic view of the Duomo is available for a moment of relaxation or a drink: a great asset! An ideal address for those on a budget.

It was a totally different room. It was an old style one, and the one we had booked was a new style room totally renovated. Then I got back to the receptionist and asked about what had happened and she told me that there was a problem with our room and they had to move us to another one. Also to mention that this room was on a different hotel from the one I had booked. I booked HOTEL BIJOU and they sent us to HOTEL ANNABELLA.
The problem is that I wasn’t informed for the change of the rooms earlier that day or upon my arrival but after paying for the full amount at a point that I couldn’t do anything to change it. They told me that they were gonna change our rooms for the second night and move us to the one we booked. Also they offered to make us a discount on the checkout for all the inconvenience caused but at the check out I asked the receptionist for the discount and she told me that she WASN’T INFORMED from her colleagues. So I asked her to call them and find out but she seemed not so willing to assist telling me that she was not a supervisor.
Also want to add as comment on this situation that the room they put us in was right next to the reception and the noises from outside was extremely annoying!
It is perfectly situated, I liked the room, the bathroom. Breakfast was ok, there was much more than cornetto and coffee :-)
I liked the helpful staff, the old style elevator really stole my heart.
The terrace on the room is great!
