In an absolutely incredible setting, this gourmet restaurant, with its seafood menu, promises an unforgettable candlelight dinner.

Nestled in the heart of the 14th-century Palace of Judges and Notaries, this "restaurant-museum" blends art and traditional Tuscan cuisine. The setting is absolutely incredible, with tables sheltered beneath wide, frescoed vaults. It's even possible to visit Dante's work! Fishing Lab took over the reins in 2016 and now brings a modern touch via a menu focused on the wonders of the sea. Thoughtful, in-house service. Fuimos con una amiga y esperamos más de media hora para que llegue la comida. Llego el primero y después de un largo tiempo llego el segundo que no era el que habíamos solicitado, igualmente nos regalaron ese plato.. luego llegó el segundo que habíamos pedido. Cada plato tardó bastante en llegar y preguntando a cada rato que pasaba. Al lado teníamos otra clienta que le había pasado lo mismo.

Mi sono recato presso il ristorante per una cena di famiglia. La prima volta per me mangiar specialità di mare, soprattutto crudo, a Firenze. Si è ordinato una piccola degustazione di crudi di mare. Molto buoni i gamberi, in tutte le loro varianti, ma la tartare non aveva alcun sapore. Capisco l’abbattimento in abbattitore, ma non aveva quel profumo tipico di mare che, almeno io, sono abituato ad avere. Inoltre, all’arrivo della frittura, noto che vi sono più carciofi e patatine fritte che pesce.
In merito al servizio, comprendo fosse un venerdì sera, ma mi aspettavo le portate arrivassero tutte insieme, e non quando gli altri commensali del mio tavolo avevano terminato
