With local craftsmen, this famous leather school showcases the art of tanning and sells high-quality accessories.
To access this famous leather school, two solutions are available: through the sacristy of the Santa Croce church, or more simply through the entrance located at No. 5 on Via San Giuseppe. Part of the monastery, more precisely the former dormitory, is dedicated to the art of tanning and traditional leather work. You can attend the various stages of manufacturing various objects, including leather goods, and even see the apprentices at work. The prices are high, but you can be assured of the unique quality of your purchase.
