La Maison Archaïque is the oldest rural house in the Ried du Nord region

The Association de Promotion et de Sauvegarde du Patrimoine de Weyersheim maintains the Maison Archaïque, the oldest rural house in the Ried du Nord region: dendrochronology shows that it was built around 1621! Archeological digs attest to a presence on the site as early as the 16th century. In the early 18th century, the house was occupied by a weaver, whose loom has survived to this day. The association organizes events here throughout the year.
