Everything is good in this slightly elevated restaurant behind Cernobbio. Fresh quality products and delicious pizzas , all at really honest prices for such a touristic place. Fish from the lake is in the spotlight, with recipes that tend towards sophistication (risotto with perch fillets, fried fish). Nice room, but the real added value is the terrace with its splendid view of the lake. Recommended for all those who want to eat well, even the setting is charged. A few well-kept rooms for those who would like to stop longer.

The Osteria del Beuc is a small brewery that doesn't look like much in an alleyway in the centre of Cernobbio, a few steps from the lakeside. Wooden tables, checkered tablecloths, wine in a pitcher, the setting announces the tone of a simple cuisine with abundant and very Italian flavours. Carpaccio rocket and parmesan, stuffed ravioli, pasta with meat stew and Milanese chops are just some of the dishes on offer. The wait can sometimes be a little long, it is better not to be in a hurry. Nice wine list, reservation recommended.

Stars and people seem to have spotted the spot; indeed George Clooney is among the regulars. The atmosphere is elegant and the cuisine refined. Meat and fish (from the lake and the sea) are very well cooked, with some game in season. Among the specialties: the fritti al Gatto Nero, light and tasty fish fritters.
