An exceptional location for this restaurant, which is very popular with the locals and attracts all visitors, just behind the church of Sant'Anna on the heights of Cannobio. Its arbour terrace suspended above the Orrido di Sant'Anna promises a meal lulled by the music of the waterfalls. The coolness of the site is particularly appreciated on summer evenings. On the plate, the best of regional cuisine, from tagliatelle with truffle to braised beef and langoustines on a bed of tomatoes.

Wein war gut, aber das Essen leider nicht. Hatten laut Karte knusprigen (!)Schweinebauch bestellt und wir bekamen labberigen Fettklumpen, den man absolut nicht essen konnte. Selbst am Schweinebauch sollte wenigstens etwas Fleisch dran sein, aber gar keines ? Als wir was sagten, diskutierte die Bedienung mit uns rum, also zahlten wir lieber und sind gegangen. Leider hatten sie trotzdem das reklamierte Gericht komplett mitberechnet. Naja…wenn man es so nötig hat ????‍♀️

We recently had the pleasure of dinning at Grotto Sant’Anna, and I must say, it was a truly exceptional experience from start to finish. Amazing food in a such nice environment!
Also, the outstanding service provided by our waitress Dalila. From the moment we walked in, greeted us with a warm and welcoming smile, setting the tone for the evening.
I look forward to returning soon for another memorable meal.

Una scoperta tanto accidentale quanto positiva: ho prenotato sbagliando (di poco) il nome del ristorante. Trovando quindi un posto migliore di quello che avevo in mente: location bellissima di fianco ad un Orrido molto scenografico, ottimo servizio, proposta menù interessante con mix di prodotti locali ed italiane, e una buona carta vini. Veramente piacevole, torneremo sicuramente!
