Hotel of dream, luxury and charm in a pleasant setting with beautiful views in Stressa.
This historic establishment has been delighting visitors since 1861. Hemingway stayed here and a suite is dedicated to him. Velvet and gold drapes, Murano glass chandeliers, Art Deco atmosphere in the reception room with a breathtaking view of the lake, luxury and comfort in the rooms and suites, art galleries in the corridors, wellness area, spa, all in the center of a beautiful park. Major renovation work took place in 2020.

Hôtel magnifique et hors du temps, un palace comme on en voit plus. La décoration des lieux a su conserver son caractère théâtral de la fin du dix neuvième siècle sans négliger le confort et les normes de notre époque . Personnel au petits soins. Service exceptionnel. Repas gastronomiques. Piscine et SPA résolument moderne.

Giusto per il mio compleanno ho voluto trascorrere un fine settimana con la mia compagna, hotel bellissimo nulla da dire stile liberty….. ben curato nei dettagli e pulito.
Il meteo era bruttissimo per cui sabato 30 appena arrivati l’unica soluzione era passare del tempo alla SPA ( funzionale e bella con piscina con acqua salata).anche se di giorno fino alle 16 é permesso a bambini con genitori a seguito sghignazzare e urlare, ci viene detto che nel fine settimana e nei prefestivi e festivi l’ingresso era su prenotazione. Ecco questa è stato molto fastidioso…a parte bimbi ecc anche perché non ero stato informato all’atto della prenotazione, un mese prima, parliamo di un albergo 5 stelle LUSSO. Abbiamo cenato, servizio molto buono e attento…. Cucina nella norma. Ho riscontrato freddezza e poca accoglienza al ricevimento .Sorridere sforzata mente anche se è Pasqua non è mai carino. Ritornare non saprei…. Forse….. peccato.

What a magical hotel!! I had such a lovely stay here, super clean hotel and welcoming staff. Elisa was very helpful and sweet, thank you to her for making our stay so lovely!!

Même pour 1 ou 2 nuits, à faire une fois dans sa vie, si possible avec vue lac.
Même le prix est haut placé, moins exclusif hors saison, à relativiser car dans ce que nous avions payé (direct sur le site web de l'hôtel), nous avions 2 petits déjeuners (lui aussi haut de gamme digne d'un brunch à 50 euros) et accès au Spa, à ne pas rater non plus !
