Visible from afar, these phantasmagorical green buildings, worthy of a science-fiction scenario, are the pride of Milan. Designed by star architect Stefano Boeri, these two towers of 18 and 26 storeys are entirely covered in greenery. Over 21,000 plants grow on the balconies of the apartments, from conifers on the north side to Mediterranean plants on the south side. All plants are carefully selected for their ability to absorbCO2. A green urban manifesto that aesthetically furnishes the urban landscape.
