Villa Arconati, once known as Milan's Little Versailles, is a seventeenth-century "villa di delizia" surrounded by a monumental park and a village. This magnificent baroque palace has seen all the European aristocracy and illustrious people pass through it in its 400-year history. Today it is the seat of the Fondazione Augusto Rancilio and hosts a variety of cultural activities and events. Walls adorned with frescoes by masters, a Roman statue of Emperor Tiberius, sculpture gardens and water features: a hidden gem in the Milanese countryside.

Il a été utilisé pendant quatre générations, puis abandonné faute de successeurs, mais il y a une quinzaine d'années, une fondation a été créée pour l'entretenir et le préserver.
Milan compte de nombreux sites touristiques célèbres, et ce n'est peut-être pas un endroit que l'on prend la peine de visiter, mais c'est un endroit où l'on peut ressentir la profondeur de l'Italie.
