Friendly service with very good food: gnocchi con ragù were amazing, cotoletta and risotto alla Milanese were stellar. Add to this a glass of Merlot and the dinner was perfect (well, also with a sbrisolona & zabaione cream… yummy!)

Came back to this restaurant after 7 years. It still didn’t disappoint. The gnocchi fritto were to die for, we had the risotto with Gorgonzola and the cuberoll di manzo which were both perfect. Service was perfect, I felt like we were very well taken care of.

me siento estafado, comida muy basica, muy caro todo, te cobran 12 euros por los cubiertos, no te preguntan por el agua y te ponen una botella rellena sucia y te la cobran, para no volver.

A warm welcome by friendly, courteous staff. Both the food and wine were excellent. Typical Milanese dishes, the risotto was exceptional. Highly recommended. Thank you to Sophia, our waitress, who was particularly helpful and attentive.

Alla scoperta dell'autentica cucina milanese. Complimenti, complimenti, complimenti... ho cenato con amici in questo splendido ristorante e ho degustato ottimi piatti presentati molto bene e dal sapore delicato. Ordino un risotto alla milanese e una coda di rospo, ottima anche la cotoletta alla milanese. Un ottimo rosso Barbera D'Asti. Personale attento e gentile ma non invadente. Ci tornerò sicuramente. Complimenti .

Provato per la prima volta nel 2021 e ne rimasi piacevolmente impressionato.
Ci sono ritornato settimana scorsa e devo dire che è stata la conferma.
Se cercate un ristorante per mangiare alla milanese nel rispetto totale della tradizione, allora questo è il posto giusto.
Per favore ignorate i bot o gli ignoranti che scrivono di trappola per turisti.
Il vitello tonnato sicuramente il migliore mai provato.
Risotto impeccabile.
Ossobuco sopraffino
Il servizio ottimo con camerieri competenti e precisi.
Ottima carta dei vini con prezzi più che onesti
Il conto nella norma per la qualità del cibo e la posizione del locale.

This classic restaurant impressed me with its impreccabl wine list and friendly English-speaking staff. The elegant, classic design provides a lovely ambiance for enjoying delicious food. I can confidently say the Vitello Tonnato was the best i have ever tested. It along with the Cutlet, were truly amazing. The starter was also very good.

The food was expensive and the quality didn’t match the price. I got a huge bone and just a tiny strip of meat around it for the 30€ Ossobuco di vitello alla milanese con risotto allo zafferano. The veal tasted ok but I wouldn’t eat it again if I had a choice. Risotto tasted like porridge. Service was fast and good in regards of taking out dirty plates. Cappuccino was served fast as well. The waitress offered an appetizer that wasn’t on menue and didn’t tell us the price. We figured when we got a bill that buratto and a few grape tomatoes cost 16€. The waitress seemed to be expecting tips despite the service charge was already included in the bill. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

La location parla da sola: siamo nel cuore della Milano delle Basiliche a pochi passi dalle colonne di San Lorenzo e anche la vista che si può godere dalle vetrine del ristorante è piacevole.
Si cena a lume di candela in un'atmosfera tranquilla e rilassata. Il servizio è premuroso e cortese.
Da mangiare opto per "il piatto del mese" che è un risotto con zucchine in fiore e burrata e filetto di branzino farcito ai fiori di zucchina e menta, un piatto decisamente buono, elegante equilibrato e "fresco". Nell'attesa che arrivasse il piatto unico ho ordinato un piatto misto di formaggi (discreti) con cipolle di tropea caramellate (buone).
La cena è stata accompagnata da una Ribolla Gialla di Jermann: una garanzia!

Tourist trap serving miserable food straight out of the 1970s. Sent there by our hotel who presumably receive a kickback for tricking unsuspecting tourists into going there. No locals were eating there—they know better. Expensive and pushy for tips. Word to the wise: flee!

My favourite restaurants during our stay. And not only because they have the best Burrata and Tiramisu!
We had a very friendly waiter who recommended us in the wine and desert. Delicious! Real Italian food made with love.
The decoration and the atmosphere in the restaurant was authentic. All wooden furniture (even the wine cooler) and the walls were amazingly detailed.
When we come visit Milan, we will for sure come back.

Sotto la basilica di San Lorenzo atmosfera ovattata, luci calde, un buonissimo risotto alla milanese con ossobuco sapientemente cotto a puntino, buoni dolci, buoni vini e servizio gentile.
Solo forse un po' caro ma si esce contenti.

Roberto était de très bon conseil pour les vins et les plats étaient top
C’était une vraie bonne adresse ! Et ce sont des lyonnais qui parlent donc en terme de bonne bouffe nous ne sommes pas les plus mal placés ! Encore merci Roberto !

L’escalope milanaise était beaucoup trop disproportionnée pour un plat pour le soir. Nous aurions apprécié que le serveur nous fasse part de la taille du plat.

Restaurant conseillé dans les guides touristiques mais qui a sûrement perdu de sa grandeur. Dans une ambiance d’osteria « rétro » on ne trouvera malheureusement pas la bonne cuisine della nonna. Des pâtes presque froides et un risotto aussi salé que l’addition sont au menu. Très décevant.

malgré un très bon accueil, ça ressemble à une usine à touristes. Les plats (tranches de veau au thon, pâtes à l'encre de seiche et risotto sans intérêt. Nous avons été déçus.
