RANDONNÉES EN VALNONTEY

Baben loop (1h, ascent 74 m). Start from Valnontey. Take the path to the left of the torrent, down towards Cogne, then, after a few hundred metres, turn left towards Baben. Once you've reached Baben, go downhill to find the dirt track which, by turning right, takes you back to the start.

Vermianaz (1h, ascent 100 m). From Valnontey, this magnificent route follows the valley floor path up to the alpine pastures of Vermianaz. It is possible to continue (1h30) to the Erfaudet springs, with the Grand-Paradis glaciers in the background.
