The Schneiberg Museum presents an incredible collection of 36 silk and precious metal carpets that belonged to the Qing, the last imperial dynasty that ruled China from 1644 to 1911. The collection, which comes from Beijing's Forbidden City, is housed in 8 spectacular rooms. For almost two hours, the archaeologist-guide tells us the story of the creation of the world according to the cosmogony of the Taoist canon, and of the primordial separation of yin and yang under the effect of qi energy. A truly fascinating visit.
