Turin's historic square, home to the Risorgimento National Museum, Il Cambio restaurant and the Carignano Theatre.
The Carignano Palace, with its red-brick facade featuring a stylized star, was the birthplace of Charles Albert of Savoy in 1798 and of his son, the King of Italian Unity Victor Emmanuel II, in 1820. From 1861 to 1864, the palace was the seat of the first Italian Parliament. Today, it houses the National Museum of the Risorgimento. In the square, you'll find one of Turin's most emblematic restaurants, Il Cambio, and the Carignano Theatre, where Toscanini made his debut. Finally, at Pepino's, don't miss a taste of pinguino, an ice cream created in 1937.

Très belle place bordée de superbes monuments. Ne pas hésiter à pénétrer dans les cours quand elles sont ouvertes.
