THE GREAT SERAGLIO
Formerly the centre of the administration of Mount-Lebanon until the Second World War, he has been occupied since 1987 by the municipal library and the cultural centre. This building, built in the neoclassical style influenced by the th century European architecture, has a porch preceded by three columns. Above this porch you will notice three pilasters surmounted by a pediment.
Behind the seraglio, you can see the Druze meeting and worship, including maqam and Khalwa, dating back to the th and th centuries.
In the middle of the village is the palace of Sheikh Hussein Hamadeh, built by floors from 1591.
