On the road south of Chtaura in the direction of Dahr el Ahmar and Rashaya, one can access the ruins of a Roman temple which was later partially transformed into a basilica. Known as Qasr al-Wali, this site was built on the slopes of the hill. For the construction of the basilica, the stone blocks were reused as architrave. The columns of very modest height can still be seen in the building.
