OUR LADY CHURCH OF ZGHORTA

A maze of small streets leads to this beautiful church in the middle of the village. The main door of the building was erected behind a wall, to prevent the Ottomans from entering horseback. All day, old minions march to pray. This church is also a pilgrimage place where people go barefoot.
