Ed Diman is below the road between Kousba and Hasroun. Since 1848, Ed Diman has taken over from Deir Qannoubin and serves as a residence for the Maronite Patriarch. Today, this residence is occupied only during the summer. Located below the road towards the valley, the Patriarchate of the upper mountain. The patriarchal siege is distinguished by its chapel built in 1938, considered an architectural marvel. This splendid view of the valley and on Deir Qannoubin as well as the church frescoes painted by Lebanese Saliba Doueihy deserve a detour. On the outskirts of Ed Diman, there is a forest of cedar planted in the 1970 s by the Patriarch.
