KHAN EL-KHAYYATIN

A few steps from the Hammam hammam, the magnificent khan khan (of the tailors), built in the th century and recently renovated, plot with its arcades to the sky. We discovered a Byzantine column with its top. Tailors, installed in small shops, are focused on their old sewing machines. Some sell abayas. Unlike the other/of the city, it is not a caravanserai with a court but a long passage. At the east end of the khan, we arrive on the shores of the Abu Ali River.
