The Municipal Picture Gallery is housed in the 17th century Palazzo Comunale (Town Hall). The collection is rich in some 800 works. Among the most precious are paintings by Carlo Crivelli (the two 15th century triptychs of Valle Castellana), Nicola Filotesio, known as Cola dell'Amatrice(The Ascent to Calvary, 1527), works by Titian, Guido Reni(Annunciation, 1575), Strozzi, De Ferrari, Magnasco, Mancini, Morelli, Pellizza da Volpedo as well as Flemish works by Van Dyck and Rembrandt (an etching).
