Hotel offering rooms furnished in the Venetian and Neoclassical styles

An aristocratic hotel in Bologna par excellence, the Majestic occupies a historic sixteenth-century palace, some rooms of which were painted by the Carracci brothers. The rooms, furnished in Venetian and neoclassical styles, are royal, with moulded headboards, profusion of fabrics and period furniture. Many stars, such as Ava Gardner, Clark Gable and Humphrey Bogart, slept there. The I Carracci restaurant serves fine cuisine in a magnificent hall.

Très bel endroit , cuisine classique , bien exécutée . Il manque un peu d’imagination .
Un peu fade . Des herbes et des épices amélioreraient grandement la cuisine trop classique

Excellente cuisine, cadre très chic, serveurs sympathiques mais des manques pour un restaurant d’hôtel de ce standing. Exemples : 1 heure d’attente entre prise de commande et la présentation des amuse-bouches, apéritif servi sans aucun accompagnement, aucune proposition de carte de vins ??? Très surprenant pour un tel restaurant dont les prix sont en relation avec le standing prétendument affiché.
