Good place to chill during hiking

The First place in Italy where I got food poisoning (had dinner there, woke up from feeling unwell)
Amd this is in addition to terrible service of people who are sick of guests (or maybe they intentionally made me not fresh seafood because I made a note that I was waiting 30 min for a menu?)
And this after trying to come second day as the first day they refused to serve me just tiramisu and aperol (22 eur), stating in a rude manner that its for dinner only
All in all, terrible
Ps the response of the owner shows you exactly the attitude of the restaurant towards customers. That's what you get for food poisoning and throwing up all night? Well, still better than a kick in the face, I suppose, but an apology would be more appropriate

Vista impagabile, peccato per il servizio quasi inesistente e scortese
Abbiamo ordinato i piatti e abbiamo chiesto di temporeggiare sul bere perché eravamo un po’ indecisi: non ci hanno più considerati

Une vue magnifique sur la baie et le coucher de soleil, un service impeccable et sympathique, sans oublier les plats excellents et frais.

Da ristoratrice ve lo sconsiglio, posto bellissimo per fare foto, ma cibo e servizio scarso. Abbiamo preso degli spaghetti allo scoglio con dentro la sabbia e le vongole fredde. Per i secondi non ci hanno portato le posate e abbiamo dovuto mangiare il fritto con le mani. Alcune tovaglie erano macchiate e i piatti sbeccat,i i bicchieri per il vino erano ancora bagnati. Dopo averci fatto aspettare per entrare nel locale più di venti minuti non ancora finito il secondo ci hanno chiesto e portato il dolce allo stesso tempo e ci hanno messo fretta dicendo che il locale stava chiudendo, considerando che non ci hanno servito l’antipasto prima delle 9, non mi sembrava il caso di essere stati cacciati prima delle ore 10.

La comida estaba muy rica, y con unas vistas impresionantes. Eso sí, aunque te marca que el restaurante se encuentra a unos 200 metros, y es relativamente cerca, es un poco duro de llegar ya que toda la subida son escalones con bastante pendiente, pero una vez allí, solo con las vistas, merece la pena el esfuerzo. Bajar luego es más comodo ????

You make a rezervation you get a bad table where you cannot stay in front of your partner. Also the food and drinks are overpriced and the service is pretty bad. I am sorry for my time and money wasted there.

El lugar tiene una vista única, la atención es muy buena aunque es recomendable reservar previamente (si bien conseguimos mesa sin reserva es mejor hacerla). La comida estuvo deliciosa, tanto la pasta como los fritos estaban perfectos (y un ragú espectacular). La relación precio calidad me parece adecuada; la experiencia en general fue muy buena.

Beautiful restaurant with stunning views of Vernazza. There were plenty of tables for people walking the Cinque Terre. The local wine is excellent.

Prime location, but visiting this restaurant made me sad as I was treated really bad. Would not recommend.
I’m a woman traveling alone and came here for a glass of wine and some food. The moment I got there I asked if they had a table for 1, to which the staff answered “obviously”. The restaurant was at this point not busy at all. After a while I asked if I could order to which they answered “That’s why you’re here, isn’t it? What do you think?”. And no it was not meant in a funny way, just plain rude and snarky.
Honestly guys, I did nothing to deserve this treatment. Please don’t treat other people this way, it makes people sad. The food was undercooked, but had a nice view.

Where to start.. not even 1 star worth ???? and probably one of the worst restaurants I have ever visited.
Menu is only in Italian, asked the waiter to explain the menu and what each meal consists of, but he rushed through it in a few seconds, giving a poor explanation and could barely hear what he said. Also one rude waiter.
If you want to operate a restaurant in a country that is most-visited by tourists, at least have an english description on your menu.
Ordered a salad with pasta. Below is a picture of what they call a “salad”, a bowl with leaves and about 6 tomatoes! How pathetic?
Asking customers to pay a service fee of 4€ per person is quite ridiculous. This fee is for the use of salt, bread and etc. Well, our pastas were salt-less and our bread was hard, dry and not fresh.

Favorite restaurant in Vernazza. The fish was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside and tender and moist on the inside. It’s fresh every day and rotates based on what’s available. Spectacular view, which is the reward for your climb to get to the restaurant. Make reservations if you want a seaside table.

We went to this restaurant 2 days in a row. The first night, we ate dinner and the trogie al pesto and spaghetti noodles were over cooked and lacked freshness and flavor. We had much better meals at other restaurants in town. The view is great but the service is not. The 2nd night, we only had drinks which are over priced compared to other restaurants in town but it is worth it for the view.
Follow up to the owner: I specifically stated your restaurant is worth having drinks for the views, which is why we went back for drinks only. Your prices are higher than some of the other places we visited in town but I guess that can be expected due to the view.
I did mention the service being poor in the original review. This was specific to the 2nd night when we had a waiter that was straight up rude.

Dopo 5 minuti di scalini, siamo giunti al ristorante "la torre". Complimenti vivissimi allo chef Daniele per l'antipasto squisito, bruschette con alici, la pasta nera con il tartar di gamberetti eccezionale!!! In più serviti da simpaticissimi, professionali ,veloci nel servizio camerieri Yeuri e Jon, che saluto tantissimo. ???? Se potete mangiate in terrazza con la vista da togliere fiato. Un'esperienza da rivivere assolutamente. ????

Vue exceptionnelle sur Vernazza
Après une randonnée de Corniglia à Vernazza, nous avons été ravis de trouver ce restaurant au bord du chemin. Nous avons pu nous restaurer dans un cadre idyllique. Le restaurant domine le village de Vernazza, et offre une vue exceptionnelle sur la mer. La cuisine et le service sont tout à fait satisfaisants.

J'ai mangé à la Torre à Vernazza. Leur cuisine m'a vraiment plu. Délicieuse. La vue était aussi superbe.

Cuisine bonne et généreuse.
Forcément un peu cher, avec 4e de frais de couvert.
Mais la tranquillité du lieu est vraiment appréciable comparé a la foule dans le village.
