Se cercate il lusso andate altrove. Ma se cercate la pace e il silenzio e amate la semplicità questo è il posto giusto. Certo le camere sono un po' spartane ma dotate del necessario per una vacanza con trekking alle Cinque Terre: letti e cuscini comodi, asciugamani puliti e con il giusto ricambio. Noi abbiamo cenato la prima sera con il menù della mezza pensione e poi con il menù alla carta. In entrambi i casi la qualità è medio/alta in rapporto al prezzo. Anche la colazione è buona: dolce, salato e frutta. Personale gentile e disponibile.

A hiked from Monterosso to the Sanctuary which was a 3km/500m ascent hike. The views are beautiful. The restaurant was closed.

Bonito santuario situado en un auténtico remanso de paz.

I don't know how this place has more then 4* reviews , this is one of the horrible places i stayed in during my trip to Europe.

1) I made a booking online portal claim that hotel is 1 mile away from the beach, however they posted false information and hotel is 7 kms away from the central town and beach and the only way you can reach this place if you have your own car or avail a shuttle service from them which costs €20 euro per trip each side or a taxi service which will cost €30-40 each side

2) The staff at the reception is very rude. When we confronted them with the false information they have put on online portals, the lady at the reception started screaming at me and said you should have checked the hotel distance on Google maps. They are trying to misguide customers by providing false information

3) The reception lady even made racist comments at us

4) The room conditions are pathetic , the beds are not comfortable at all , the room i stayed in the bathroom lock didn't work and there is no one to hear about your complaints. It is looking like staying in a ghost house

5) This is actually an old Monastery which has been converted to a so called hotel. The images i am attaching shows real condition of the hotel

6) There is no other place nearby where you can go for dinner. No kitchen , no facilities are provided in the room for any cooking/heating stuff

7) They even refused to switch on the heating system when it was cold at night saying that it is already May and we can't provide heating service now

Book this place at your own risk. If i had option of giving less then 1 star also I would have given negative ratings to this place

We had a very nice stay! It's simple but has everything you need, also very clean and friendly!
I also had probably the best risotto I've ever had! Thanks for having us!

Le camere sono spartane ma le ho trovate molto più funzionali rispetto ad altre più moderne in altri alberghi. Pulizia giornaliera, cambio di asciugamani nonostante non lo avessimo richiesto. Colazione migliorabile. Nonostante ci sia il bar devi improvvisare un cappuccino usando le caraffe del caffè e del latte. Signora della reception piuttosto scontrosa, si è addolcito nel corso dei giorni. Pace e relax assoluti

Einfach ein magischer Ort.

Il soggiorno vale la pena per la vista che si gode su Monterosso, le camere sul fabbricato che sono lungo la chiesa sono un po' spartane e prive di condizionatori, il personale tutto e gentile e disponibile, comunque ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Lontano solo dieci minuti di auto dai luoghi delle cinque terre facilmente raggiungibili anche grazie alla navetta privata gestita dalla struttura o tramite servizio pubblico.

Most beautiful table with a spectacular view over the ocean ! The food is homemade and very tasty! Local wine ???? and the kindest staff! You sit in the middle of the monasteries courtyard! It’s a great experience that I can highly recommend!

Non so come spiegare; avete presente "non ci resta che piangere" ? Un salto meraviglioso nel passato con altrettanti piatti favolosi...

Nagyon kellemes élmény volt, sajnálom, hogy csak egy éjszakát maradtunk! Különleges hangulat lengi be a helyet, szinte olyan mint egy múzeumban aludni. A templom (vagy egy korábbi verziója) 1200ban épült.
A házigazdák nagyon vendégszeretőek és rugalmasak voltak. A szobák állatbarátak, nagytestű kutyával voltunk.
A szoba ár-érték aránynak megfelelő, kényelmes volt paz ágy, tisztasággal se volt problémám.
A reggeli svédasztalos, sokminden volt, de mondjuk hiányoltam a zöldséget, gyümölcsöt.
Hugom gluténérzékenységgel konkrétan semmit nem tudott fogyasztani. (De ez sajnos szinte egész Olaszországra igaz)

Le camere sono abbastanza spartane, quello che mi colpisce è la pulizia: assente in alcune camere; anche i bagni non sono da meno.
La posizione non è delle migliori, ci vogliono circa 10 minuti a raggiungere il centro della città di Monterosso e più di un'ora a piedi.
Servizio abbastanza buono, da me testata solo la colazione e si mangia bene.

Primo piano dell'ostello terribile. Sconsigliato. Mancanza di pulizia. Nel complesso vecchio e trasandato (vedi la sezione "camere"). Chiesa, colazione e posizione unici punti a favore.

Totale mancanza di segni di civiltà. Camere dell'ostello risalenti alla Prima Guerra mondiale. ORRORE

Un lieu exeptionnel! Une vue à couper le souffle. Tres bon accueil! Chambre tres spartiate mais cela ne nous a pas derangé. Possibilité d'acheter à boire ou à manger jusqu'à 23h. Petit dejeuné top. Une navette gratuite peu vous amener au centre ville sous réservation ce qui est super pour éviter de payer le parking. Prix tres correct pour les 5 terres je recommandes.

Parfait : équipe sympathique et à l'écoute, lieu bien situé & reposant, très bonne restauration et une église pour se recueillir et prier. Vous pouvez aussi partir à pied vers le village de Monterroso ou vous garez en bas pour rejoindre le train et accédez aux autres villages des Cinq Terre. Au top ????
