VILLA DURAZZO
Elegant villa surrounded by a beautiful park, built in 1678 in Santa Margherita Ligure.
This elegant villa was built in 1678 for the Genoese Marquis Durazzo, who wished to acquire a summer residence. The property was sold to the Centurione princes in 1821, then purchased by Alfredo Chierichetti in 1919. Lavishly furnished with earthenware floors, it boasts a fine collection of antique objets d'art: marble sculptures, tapestries, Chinese art... The villa is surrounded by a beautiful park (open to the public) where maritime pines and exotic plants gracefully mingle. The park also includes English-style gardens and an orangery.
