Former Liberty-style halls (Italian Art Nouveau), in the Piazza del Carmine district, are now home to a colorful and sparkling regional market. Renovation work has restored the beautiful iron and glass structure to its former glory. Inside, producers sell all the flavours of Liguria: pesto in all its forms, focaccia, fruit and vegetables, meats, fish, cured meats and local cheeses. Local wines are also on offer. Plus: a food corner where you can sample directly on the spot.
