This Bed & Breakfast, in a palazzo storico in the heart of old Genoa, on the piazza San Matteo, arguably the city's most beautiful square, is full of character. The façade features two sculpted lions, symbols of the victory won in the battle against Venice. The charming owners, Giorgio and Benedetta, welcome you to their apartment on the5th floor, where 3 pretty bedrooms have been fitted out. The decor is fresh and tasteful, with a touch of shabby chic. The breakfast room is full of delicacies.

Great hotel, nice owner, comfortable and spacious rooms.

Our host was very thoughtful and accommodating to our last minute change in check-in time due to our train schedule changes. The breakfast was very lovely and had a wide spread - the homemade apple pie was superb, variety of fresh fruits, yogurt and muesli and focaccia bread - although meat-lovers might prefer to have breakfast outside. The bathroom does not connect directly to your bedroom, but the perks is a spacious and private toilet (separate from the room).

Siamo tornati ai Piccoli Leoni per la terza volta . Ormai è come casa questo gioiellino nel cuore di Genova, in una delle piazze più belle della città . Risveglio con il profumo delle torte di Giorgio .. garbato , gentile , disponibile . Le sue colazioni sono così accoglienti con la meravigliosa focaccia calda . Pulito , comodo e sopratutto profuma di quella “Genova” che ogni volta lasciarla è sempre molto triste ….. Grazie ai Piccoli Leoni , grazie Giorgio e …….a presto .

I can't rate this place highly enough! A very spacious room that is also really cosy and comfortable. A great location, within walking distance of some great food, shopping and sightseeing opportunities. Above all, an incredibly friendly host who couldn't do enough to accommodate our needs. Breakfast was an absolute treat! Thanks again!

Incredible! The rooms are Spectacular; Spacious, Spotless and Stylish, while the location is perfect with everything right around the corner. Giorgio, the owner, is a total gentleman ( he even made a special vegan / gluten free cake for us and shared the recipe!) and the breakfast was incredible! Fruit, yoghurt, musli, cake and foccacia. He was accomodating to both vegan and gluten free diets. We can't wait to return, it really exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much!
