A friendly trattoria with an old-fashioned decor serving exquisite regional specialties such as farinata or stuffed vegetables.
Formerly a salt depot(sa'pesta means "crushed salt" in Genoese), this old-fashioned trattoria is a favorite of Genoese, where farinata and pies made with rice, onions and vegetables are cooked over a wood fire. The two large ovens welcome visitors at the entrance, with a choice of takeaway specialties or on-the-spot consumption in the back rooms. The setting has retained its old-world charm, with small green and white tiles covering the walls, wooden tables and a dessert cart. A friendly, authentic atmosphere.

Forse perché a mezzogiorno ma metà del menù- già limitato - non disponibile. Torte salate molto buone così come il baccalà. Sardine ripiene ? ripieno con sopra mezza sardina frittura buona ma scarsa. Buoni i dolci e il vino della casa . Prezzi medi locale caratteristico meno turistico della media

Piatti tipici genovesi, di ottima qualità e veramente buoni. Eravamo in 5 abbiamo mangiato veramente bene e lo staff è cordiale e simpatico.

Wir haben nicht reserviert. Allerdings wurden wir dermaßen durchgereicht, dass es sich nicht nach einem gemütlichen Abendessen angefühlt hat. Ich hatte die „gemischte Platte des Hauses“ , alle Speisen wurden kalt serviert.. meine Freundin hatte eine Suppe. Tbh es war annehmbar lecker, aber statt den 28€ (mit Wein) mussten wir 32€ bezahlen. Alles hat sich ein wenig falsch angefühlt.
