An august, pink-fronted house that's been open since 1862. It's worth the trip, just 20 minutes from downtown, and smells of a Sunday family meal. The menu is classic but demanding, with an old-fashioned decor. Its homemade pesto has a fine reputation, as do the fried fish and grilled meats. A brand-new improvised Beer Garden just 5 minutes from the restaurant attracts night owls on summer nights.
