Last night, during the aperitivo on the terrace, you noticed that, despite all the care you took with your wardrobe when you packed your bags, you were less elegant than the Milanese sitting next to you... Our transalpine neighbors and elegance, it's really not a legend! So today, it's decided, it's shopping all day long to get in line with the Italian capital of fashion. And what better way to do it than in an airy village where all the top brands are gathered, offering the best discounts, in a beautiful, modern and secure setting?

The Serravalle Designer Outlet was the first McArthurGlen outlet village to open in Italy in 2000. now, 23 years later, it is the largest designer outlet village in Europe, and its success is phenomenal, with millions of visitors per year on an area of over 50,000 square meters. It was built in the south of Piedmont, a 45-minute drive from Genoa, an hour from Milan and an hour and a half from Turin. If it is the largest outlet in Europe, it is also one of the most beautiful. The village is organized around its central square with a huge fountain-basin. All its streets are open air (don't worry, in case of rain - yes, it happens sometimes in Italy - umbrellas are available for free), the whole is designed in a classic Italian architecture, inspired by the palaces of the Ligurian coast. In this luxurious place, a true shopping kingdom, beautifully lit when night falls, it is a pleasure to walk through the streets lined with beautiful boutiques of the most famous Italian and international brands, some of them luxury, with discounted prices: Prada, Valentino, Versace alongside Adidas, Nike, Burberry, there is something for every taste, every age, every budget. There is so much to do at the Serravalle Designer Outlet!

Some visitors stay overnight in the pretty little towns around them like Gavi or Novi Ligure to continue their shopping the next day, but also to discover the area. In fact, in Monferrato there are many activities to enjoy: gourmet activities such as truffle harvesting (even in summer!) or tastings of the famous Gavi wine in the many famous wine cellars, or more sporty activities such as golfing or biking on the soft and green hills surrounding the Designer Outlet. For more information and to arrange a visit, you can contact the Tourist Consortium of the area. But the Serravalle Designer Outlet will keep you busy for a while. With more than 240 stores, you won't know where to turn! If you're looking for specific brands, it's best to plan your visit in advance so you can get straight to the point. On the Designer Outlet website, a map will allow you to locate in advance the boutiques you've chosen. And, if you can afford it, the Serravalle Designer Outlet also offers a particularly luxurious service: the possibility ofbeing accompanied in your shopping by a style and fashionprofessional, a personal shopper. More than an assistant during your purchases, the personal shopper analyzes your tastes, your morphology, and allows you to find the clothes that will enhance your personality. Three formulas exist: two solo, and one duo, starting at 250 €. If you are interested in this service, don't forget to book it well in advance (at least one week before your visit).

The Serravalle Designer Outlet is truly a temple of shopping that will delight you in every season, with new items constantly being added, such as the new Stella McCartney boutique that opened recently. And for the kids to take a break from all that shopping, a new water park opened in the spring of 2022, further enriching the facilities for the little ones, with a large picnic area.

Ah Venice! Its palaces, its bridges, its canals! You enjoy your romantic getaway with your loved one, eyes in eyes, the lagoon around you ... But why not go away for a day and meet again in the evening, arms full of gifts, around a Spritz! And since you just learned that there is a Fendi boutique at the Noventa di Piave Designer Outlet only 45 minutes from the heart of the Serenissima and 20 minutes from the beautiful beaches of the Adriatic, you will finally be able to succumb to the inescapable baguette bag thanks to the low prices and look like Carrie Bradshaw, who made it an it bag in the Sex and the City series.

Especially if you add an extra discount! Indeed, don't forget, when you arrive at the Guest Services Center, tell the staff the magic word "Petit Futé": it will allow you to get your Fashion Passport, a card that offers you an additional 10% discount on the already reduced prices of all participating stores, valid for your entire shopping day! And by the way, this sesame is not reserved for the Noventa di Piave Designer Outlet, you can get it in all five Italian McArthurGlen Designer Outlets!

This Designer Outlet in the heart of the Veneto region is absolutely beautiful and is enjoying a well-deserved and growing success. Opened in 2008, it was expanded in 2019 and now houses more than 160 stores for sensational bargains, during sales periods, but also all year round, in a grand setting: the décor, services and stores are truly on par with the City of the Doges. The Noventa di Piave Designer Outlet takes up the great elegance of Venetian and Trevisan architecture, with galleries above the streets, romantic balconies, a small cast-iron kiosk in the main square, beautiful fountains, a real gondola, and the famous and aesthetic motif of the campanile in St. Mark's Square to crown the monumental entrance! Numerous events are scheduled throughout the year, such as concerts, parades... Never has a shopping experience been so successful, especially if you add a welcome break at Venchi to treat yourself to a gourmet hot chocolate presented as a work of art.

Mugello is the region of northern Tuscany located between Florence and Bologna, a splendid area of typical Tuscan landscapes, small towns and charming villages populated by castles and Renaissance houses. Home of the Medici family, Mugello is a kind of postcard that makes dreams come true all over the world. Only 30 minutes from Florence by shuttle or car, and 45 minutes from Bologna, the small town of Barberino di Mugello hosted the Barberino Designer Outlet in 2006, which is fully integrated into this panorama of green hills.

Around the Designer Outlet village, the best restaurants and agriturismos to taste the splendor of Tuscan gastronomy. The Designer Outlet is built around a stream spanned by several bridges to create a picturesque setting completely in tune with the surrounding area. It's like being in an old village or a neat neighborhood in Florence or Siena. Small benches, street lamps, paved streets, and that winding stream: it's not the Arno and there's no Ponte Vecchio, but the atmosphere is so charming! The different stores (more than 120 of them!) are housed in small houses along the stream for a soothing and refined walk. What harmony!

Here we find the McArthurGlen group's desire not only to avoid distorting the sites where they are located, but even better, to integrate into the local aesthetic, to be in harmony with the host area. And it is always very successful, without a doubt, with beautiful outdoor spaces. In Tuscany, the setting is very green, with a lot of room left for nature, while presenting, another wish of the group in its Designer Outlets, creations by contemporary artists. But the group's concerns are not only aesthetic, they are also ecological: the structures are maintained, renovated regularly, to environmental protection standards, especially in the use of water, with a conscientious respect and concern for the preservation of nature. For example, you will find charging stations for electric cars, and multiple options to reduce your ecological footprint and promote environmental preservation at each of McArthurGlen's five Designer Outlets.

With this focus on staying in harmony with the landscape, it's even more fun to stroll the aisles and shop in the beautiful Dolce & Gabbana boutiques to stock up on iconic pieces of luxury and style, unless you're into Beetle and Liu Jo or contemporary Italian lines. The choice is international and you can also complete your casual closet with Nike or Tommy Hilfiger. And if you miss the French style, then Lacoste and Karl Lagerfeld are there to fulfill your expectations.

The eternal city and its breathtaking beauty... in Rome, it is impossible to visit everything in one go... So plan your future stays to discover it all and take a break from your tour schedule! Don't risk an overdose! A bit of shopping with your family will give you a boost: head to the largest village of brands in Rome. But you don't have the courage to take your toddler with you to all the Castel Romano Designer Outlet boutiques you've been dreaming about... You have to admit that he certainly won't have the same love eyes as you for that incredible Valentino dress you spotted or those totally indispensable Versace sandals... And since he was as good as gold during the visit to the Vatican the day before, reward him by entrusting him to the village's playground.

McArthurGlen's Designer Outlets pay special attention to the whole family, with children's areas equipped with all kinds of games, and they are enriched with new structures every year. In addition, all the villages have toilets with changing tables to make the day easier for young mothers. Only 25 kilometers southwest of the historic center of Rome, the site occupied by the Castel Romano Designer Outlet is truly incredible.

First, the entrance to the village is spectacular. You pass between the two round towers of a castle facade worthy of a movie set, and yet we are not in Cinecittà (well, we are not so far anyway, think of visiting these fabulous movie studios if you haven't already!) The umbrella pines around the site and the palm trees in the paved alleys of the village remind us that the sea is just next door, 10 small kilometers away. Inside the village, the facades of the 150 or so stores echo the aesthetics of ancient temples and Roman palaces, and the fountains refresh the atmosphere as if in an authentic Lazio village. As with all McArthurGlen Designer Outlets, the entire structure is handicap accessible and dogs are welcomed here as members of your family (though they must be kept on a leash). A kit with bags for droppings will be given to you free of charge at the reception. The hosts and hostesses are attentive, multilingual and take care of their guests. In the open air, far from the noisy and confined atmosphere of the shopping malls, in an irreproachable cleanliness and the respect of the very demanding security and sanitary standards, the well-being is total. And it is so easy to get there from the Termini train station, located in the center of Rome, by shuttle bus!

5- La Reggia Designer Outlet

You're spending a week in Naples, you climbed Mount Vesuvius the day before and you've scheduled a visit to the royal palace in Caserta the next day? What health! Or did you come back from Capri a day early and don't feel like walking through the crowded streets of the beautiful Parthenopean city? Come on, you've earned a day of relaxation and sweetness where you can alternate between lazing around and shopping!

Just 20 minutes from Naples and 10 minutes from Caserta, in the town of Marcianise, La Reggia Designer Outlet welcomes you in a magnificent setting, in an alliance of Mediterranean styles mixing Byzantine domes, Campanian architecture with its tiled roofs, dazzling baroque in the facades and with its stores under arcades, without forgetting its fountains and sculptures by contemporary artists. The setting is sumptuous, for a little one would believe oneself on the stage of the famous San Carlo theater!

It is also the largest village of brands in southern Italy, recently enlarged, with more than 160 stores opening onto real open-air streets. Don't hesitate to take breaks throughout the day at the food outlets, for example to enjoy a delicious and authentic Neapolitan pizza at Rossopomodoro. McArthurGlen's Designer Outlets all offer food outlets, such as Lindt or Farinella, where you can enjoy a coffee, ice cream or a bite to eat. Each one offers its own local specificity and Rossopomodoro delivers its typical traditional know-how in the art of pizza making, recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. What good news: tasting pizza has become a cultural activity! One last piece of advice: if you can, go there during the week because the place is very busy on weekends with Italians!
