Picturesque path surrounded by olive trees preserving the tombs of some Benedictine monks.
A picturesque path, surrounded by olive trees, leads to this ancient12th-century church perched on a rocky spur dropping sheer into the sea (a 10-minute walk from the town center, following the signs). In such a natural setting, a feeling of peace invades you! The church, with its harmonious Romanesque architecture, stands on the foundations of an ancient chapel dating back to the 7th century. Although the interior is completely bare, the church still contains the tombs of some of the Benedictine monks who once lived here.

Simple
It does not have any fresco and he is very small only one navata. You can enter every day except sunday and Monday from 9 to 11:45 and from 15 to 17:45. However it is nice to go At sunset time to see the landscape from there and you can see from the doors.
The best at Varigotti and around
