Sanctuary dedicated to the Virgin, located at the top of the Pigna in San Remo.
At the top of the Pigna, this sanctuary dedicated to the Virgin Mary is particularly dear to the people of Sanremo, who could easily spot it when at sea. Erected to celebrate the town's liberation from the rule of the Doria family in 1361, the building today boasts a structure reworked in the Baroque period. Inside, don't miss a painting of the Virgin and Child (Nicolò da Voltri, early 15thcentury ), considered miraculous.
