MUSEO PROVINCIALE DEL VINO

What would a Wine Route be without its wine museum? In the old vaulted cellar of a building of medieval origin are exhibits illustrating the region's ancient winemaking tradition. The South Tyrol Wine Museum is located in the oldest wine-growing region in the German-speaking world. Opened in 1955 at Ringberg Castle above Lake Kaltern, it is the oldest wine museum in Italy. Today, the museum is located in the center of the wine village of Kaltern.
