SOUTH TYROLEAN WINE MUSEUM

The Wine Museum is located in Caldaro, at the start of the wine route. Here you can see how this century-old culture has enriched the valley. The museum exhibits objects used for the grape harvest, such as wine presses, and explains the winemaking process. Tasting (paying) possible after the guided tour in the "underground canteen". Here you can taste vintages made from three Tyrolean grape varieties: lagrein, vernatsch (schiava) and gewurztraminer. And discover the versoaln, blatterle, fraueler, portugieser or weiss terlaner grape varieties.
