CASTEL RONCOLO

Located along the road of the Sarentina Valley, 3 km from the city center, hanging on a rock rock above the Talvera torrent, this castle, which is very romantic, is one of the most famous in the region. It dates from 1237 but was partly rebuilt at the end of the last century. Its inner courtyard makes great impression. The rooms mainly retain precious decorative frescoes of the beginning of the fifteenth century, carried out by various artists from the Bolzano school. You can also dine on site.
