BARCOLANA

The regatta has been running since 1969. Every year, on the second Sunday in October, over 2,000 sailing boats, from the most modest to the most sumptuous, compete across the Gulf of Trieste. The regatta is the biggest in the Mediterranean and one of the world's leading yacht races, even earning it a place in the Guinness Book of Records! The spectacular race attracts thousands of visitors who throng the coastline. It's a great opportunity to celebrate on the water and in the streets, with stalls and entertainment.
