In 1897, founder Pepi S'Ciavo gave his name to this trattoria. Renamed Da Pepi, the historic buffet has renovated its premises while retaining the spirit of the rustic dining room, with wooden tables and stools, the counter with cold meats and prepared dishes, plus terrace service. Here, pork is king, grilled in large quarters, breaded or cured. On the premises or to take away, you can choose from well-stocked sandwiches, plates served with antipasti or sauerkraut, or meat and vegetable platters(bollito misto) to share.

Na kosilo smo prišli v živahno gostilno. Zaposlenih je bilo ogromno natakarjev in kuharjev, tako, da smo bili hitro postreženi. Ko sem za joto vprašala, če je kuhana z mesom, so mi zagotovili, da ne. Takoj, ko je natakar prinesel hrano pa je notri plaval kos mesa. Opravičili so se in teh obrokov niso zaračunali, vseeno pa je ostal slab priokus. Ne bi se vrnila, ker so se zlagali.

Se volete mangiare il buon bollito triestino non potete non venire qui! Nel centro di Trieste si può mangiare all'interno o nei tavoli esterni. Servizio velocissimo e carne di qualità. Personale cortese e accomodante. Prezzo molto buono.

Amazing place with Austrian influence. Food is at its best in its simplicity, and this place does everything well. Loved the food, service and atmosphere. Great location as well. Absolutely recommend!

Posto storico di Trieste. Si mangia per lo più maiale e bollito di frattaglie varie, con birra. Se siete schizzinosi non fa per voi. Non è certo il ritratto della pulizia e della raffinatezza.
Fanno la Jota, zuppa tipica della zona, leggermente acidula con crauti, patate e fagioli e un pezzo di pancetta giusto per non farsi mancare il maiale anche qua. Gustosa! Buonissimo il panino con il crudo. Prezzi medio/bassi. In 2 abbiamo pagato 39,50 e abbiamo preso 2 antipasti con prosciutto e frattaglie, una jota, un panino con crudo, calice di vino e una bibita in lattina.
